About Amber

Hi! I’m Amber Miclat! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I grew up in the small town of Pilot Mountain, which you may recognize from the Andy Griffith show as “Mount Pilot.” I am a born and bred Tar Heel fan, and graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. I am a wife and fur mama of two spoiled pups, Bella and Benji. I am a lover of coffee, junk food, and all things floral. I am 4'11”, and I like to describe myself as a small person with a big heart!

My love for weddings began at a young age, when of course, The Wedding Planner, become one of my favorite movies. I realized my true passion for this industry when I became a maitre ‘d in 2016, where I was the assistant to the wedding specialist at the hotel I was working at. I eventually promoted to be a full time wedding specialist there in 2017. I had recently become engaged myself and had started planning a wedding of my own! This is what taught me how much I enjoyed working with different venues and other vendors, as well as giving advice to fellow brides which is why I decided to start my own event planning business!
